This obscure, south-facing rock is located off the Redington Road area between the Catalina and Rincon Mountains NE of Tucson. It actually sits on the eastern slopes of the Catalinas approximately 2 miles north of the Bellota Ranch. The dirt road drive takes about an hour, as does the approach hike. Its a perfect, remote Winter area for someone looking for decent, moderate climbing with a different view. Depending on the year, you could be comfortable late Fall to early Spring.
